The Floor of the white man's failures is the ceiling of the black man's expectations.

As a people, we have been brainwashed into believing that we must judge our achievements or accomplishments by the standards set by our white brothers and sisters.  For instant, take a look at the film and music industry portrayed by Hollywood to get a panoramic view of what I am saying.  In today's society, it seems that we are a bunch of copycats by the way we dress, the music we listen to and generally how we portray ourselves.
