For someone to live happily they must be happy with who they are and what they perceive themselves to be. Some of the best role models in the world have died unhappy with a certain aspect of themselves yet were happy with their accomplishments. They died with a purpose, therefore they are happy or content with who they are.
Role models show us that it isn't about who you are or what you look like that affects society's opinion of you but rather what you have accomplished with regards to who you are that matters. An alcoholic can be advocate for sobriety if they have the right intentions in mind. If he had repented for what he has done in the past and reformed his ways than he or she can serve as an accurate role model.
Performing some action that benefits the world is enough for change in any one person's life. This phenomenon is referred to as the butterfly effect. What we don't realize is that one little action that we perform can have a direct impact on someone's life.
