"When you hear a man say I "hate" and add the name of some race, religion, social class, nation, you are dealing with a belated mind."

Many times without knowing anything about another person, I often hear the word "hate" used to define that person. I see a person walk into a room and just because they look or sound different, they are greeted with turned up noses. This is why the need for education is so important, because without it, people become and remain xenophobic. Without taking the time to learn about someone else, many people jump to conclusions, that are usually wrong. If we educate ourselves, we educate our posterity to accept all the differences in diversity.
