Declaration of Basketballers

When in the course of human events, it becomes necessary for a few NBA players to stand up for the rights of the many, we deemed it necessary to showcase our position to acquire equality and subsistence for not only we the representatives, but for all current members, and those who will come thereafter, to attain the self same benefits we propose.

We hold these truths to be indubitable, that no one man shall hold us hostage or prevent us from attaining those benefits that we hold so dear to our bosoms. We are determined that we shall not fail or falter in our objectives to garner an agreement that will ultimately protect our livelihoods and our nuclei of families.

To assert the statements we declare that:

He has viewed us as the least deserving group.

He has have repeatedly lied to us.

He has refused to come to any amicable agreement.

He has forced many of our members to travel overseas as an alternative.

He has stolen the dreams of many of our gifted young recruits.

At every point in our subjugation, we have sought remedy in the most tranquil way: Our request have only been met with more obduracy. One of such untrustworthy character, whose mannerism is that of an overlord, is unfit to lead in such delicate a matter as this.

Now we are ready to stand up on the pinnacle of justice against this injustice. We send a stern warning that we will not any longer tarry with such tardiness. We have appeal, time and again, to the spirit of a good conscience that should reside in the home of a good heart.

We now therefore petition to a higher power, if there be such, to provide us with such divine providence that will bring swift resolution to our grievance. We stand ready to disband from such modern tyranny and form a union that would be lasting and beneficial to all and sundry.
