She had nothing in this world but her two hands, and with those two hands she moves all
obsticles and mountain that's in her way! God whom never heard of this mountain mover look uponed this strong woman and wonder "Why havent his eyes seen such powerful woman before" for i am the great one! With those two hands she made all things possible for her and refused to let anything or anyone get in her way of what she's trying to acomplished. He faith and love for god is how she's able to move those mountains and stayfocus on what she knows her reality to be.
"I love Los Angeles. I love Hollywood. They're beautiful. Everybody's plastic, but I love plastic. I want to be plastic." -Andy Warhol

Andy Warhol is right. I normally find him to be an arrogant prick--but he's right! Plasticity does have a massive appeal. People who are beautiful and empty have way fewer problems than real people, flesh people, who worry about their job, education, the economy, food, shelter, etc. Beautiful people are made to be plastic and entertain the suffering. Although there have been a few beautiful people who are not plastic, who actually have emotion, compassion, and dignity.

Kurt Vonnegut once wrote, "How nice, to feel nothing and still get full credit for being alive." THis is what Warhol wants. To a degree, this is what I want. To not have to worry, feel sadness, feel anything--what a novel idea! But i'm not plastic. And neither was Warhol. And neither was his gal bladder which later killed him. We were meant to only catch glimpses of the fleeting plastic toys.

"I have a different constitution. I have a different brain; I have a different heart; I got tiger blood, man."- Charlie Sheen
In this quote, it could be quite possible that Sheen is implying he has actual brain damage. To be honest, anyone who has used and abused that many substances is not going to walk away mentally stable. Charlie does not have "tiger blood". He has human blood that's probably floating around with a mess of STD's.
However, behind his antics could lie a real cry for help. Perhaps Charlie does seek attention--but from that of a therapist or doctor. In this country, we celebrate genius and often, hopefully, the intellectually unique. However, in Charlie's case, he's so convinced his mental instability is in fact genius that he calls those disillusioned by him "trolls".
It did make me sad, however, watching "The Roast of Charlie Sheen" on Comedy Central last night. He was a good actor with a lot of potential. Well...he still IS a good actor, unless his lifestyle fatally derails him.

Prompt:“Hollywood is a place where they’ll pay you a thousand dollars for a kiss and fifty cents for your souls.”

As individuals we need to determine our worth. We cannot base our worth on the opinions of others instead we must understand who we are, where we are going, and define the path to take. When we understand ourselves then the worth place on us as individuals will become insignificant and unable to determine our future.
We have all been told or heard someone being told that they will never make it; but through perseverance a lot of those individuals have surpassed even their own expectations. They valued themselves as being worth more than what the world saw as the beginning of their struggles. Are your kisses worth more than your soul?

Prompt: Hollywood is a place where they’ll pay you a thousand dollars for a kiss and fifty-cents for your soul.

Image is everything in Hollywood. As long as you’ve got a beautiful face or a chiseled body, you can ride the waves of fame and fortune. However, when the beauty fades, your value drops faster than the stock market.

There is a saying that, “outside beauty is alright if the inside corresponds”. If this is true, then the same value should be placed on the soul and the kiss equally seeing that without one you couldn’t get the other. Hollywood, on the other hand has a misplaced view of what is valuable and sees only the physical attributes, as having any lasting value. How ironic when the life of a kiss has no comparison to the life of a soul.

What drives an industry filled with a plethora of actors, actresses, producers and countless film crews? It is the superficial aesthetic look of a woman or man that has value as long as they are needed. Keeping up with the Joneses as it were is absolutely imperative. If you don’t, you will undoubtedly lose status and wealth, and become less than “fifty-cents”.
